You have said that functioning from the egoic mind promotes ill health. Why is that?

The Seer:
To sustain the illusion of individuation requires a great deal of energy. In addition, the illusion that the ego and its mental tools can actually know anything while existing in an unknowable universe, requires even more. Trying to keep up the lie of being in control, the ego sucks energy from the physical form (as well as from others in its environment) through various forms of tyranny. This reduction in bodily energy compromises the body’s defense systems and drains energy from healthy functioning organs — illness can result.
