The origins of international conflicts can be found within, by our rejecting pieces of ourselves that have to express. The suppressed parts of ourselves fight back, in the form of aches, pains, and ailments.
This ceremony is designed to help us accept and appreciate the adventure of physical life unfolding. It is about global peace resulting from achieving peace within. The inner conflict of man that needs to be resolved, is the conflict between embracing life and surrendering to death. This conflict exists between the physical (material self) and the soul (the etheric self). Through acceptance, change comes through grace rather than conflict.
