In the late afternoon of last Sunday’s gathering I found that the sun had a pink orange hue that I hadn’t seen before. It made me wonder if it responds to consciousness shifts?

Yes it is a sign of the change. The sun’s new colors are a communication from the sentient being that governs our sun, known as the sun god:
