What is happiness and why does it elude us? It seems that many search for it, but few manage to hold onto it.
The Seer:
Happiness does not exist as an independent quality. It is in fact the sum total of an alchemical equation. The three components of the equation must all three be present or else the resulting happiness does not take place. The three components of the alchemical equation that produces happiness are (as with all alchemical equations, the order of the components is relevant):
- Awakened passion
- Deep contentment
- Excited discovery
When added together as components that are being lived in one’s daily life, the result is unshakeable happiness (happiness that does not depend on the vicissitudes of life). If even one of these components is absent, an unfulfilled feeling results.
