Some years ago I read a paperback called, 'The Soulless Ones Among Us' and since then the title has stuck with me. Is there such a thing as soulless people among us?

Yes, but there are many complexities around this issue, so I'll do my best to clarify. It delves deeply into alien intervention with Earth life that has gone on for millions of years.
There are two different factions of aliens interfering with human affairs: those who want to help us evolve (let's call them group A) and those who want to exterminate humanity (group B). Group A is not purely altruistic in their motivation; their own survival and their way of life, depend on our survival. Group B is in a trade dispute with group A, and wishes to remove humanity in order to destroy the stronghold of the races in group A.
Both the species in these groups, especially group A, are at least a million years ahead of humanity in advanced technology. The biggest threatening ability of all of these races, however, lies in their capability to assume any lifeform's shape. They could appear as a beautiful movie star or sports hero or even a favorite pet.
The most dominant race in group A, is masterful at genetically engineering any race that is needed for a specific purpose. The only specie on Earth that has not been created by them, is the race of godbeings — the Original Ones.✶

and they try to take over everything, invade all avenues, break in and enter, bribe bankers , garbage men, postal workers, and really are space invaders— with beliefs in place and inner family issues —- nothing seems to stop them from cobtrolling those around them any way they can- they are notoroius liars, and even will stop so low to try manipulatw all avenues– colors dont work on them apoarently… and im not sure if biometric devices that are wired in the walls are stopped bu colors aling w infared…. is tgere any way to stop tge souless ones as i clear my beliefs snd inner family?

Is there a way to know if a being you are dealing with, is say.. another species disguised as a human.
Or more specifically – Is it possible for us to know if we're dealing with a being from group A or B, to see through the disguise?

Alright, just to be clear… normally when we talk about races we talk about differences in bodies (bodily features) but now we are talking about souls? Because I can imagine talking about souls in this way; otherwise I'd wonder how two humans can produce the body of an OO…?
And this group A of benevolent aliens created soulless husks humans? And group B the malign ones created ones that feel/dream? Why in this way? What would either group want from their creations?
