The goal in mastering duality is not to eliminate either, or both, opposite poles. It is in the separation of opposite poles, in duality, that space is kept on place. Space is the gift of the Infinite for individuations to experience themselves. The goal is to bring cooperative interaction between both poles in a way that they inspire each other to express more fully.

Studying the Inspired Interaction Between Life and Death

For example:

• Toltec mystics call death ‘the Adviser’ and reminded themselves at all times that not to live fully is to have a fate worse than death. The knowledge that death stalks them in every moment, is used to enhance the importance of the moment.
• Native American warriors used to ride into battle with the words, “it’s a good day to die”. This was done to ponder the fact that death must be earned as much as life; that both life and death are equally valuable in the eternal succession of cycles of birth and rebirth.
• The perception of the gods is that after conquering death, the godbeing’s next step is to conquer life. This is done by looking at life as a beckoning adventure rather than a burden. This is the way of the Original Ones.
