The short answer is that by aligning with the macrocosmic templates, we empower microcosmic outcomes in individual lives. The macrocosm unfolds according to a specific pattern that resembles a labyrinth. It allows freedom of choice, but there's only one easy route through and we are guided by our inspiration (the way the intent of the Infinite expresses through us) as to which way to go. We have studied the stages of unfolding evolution. These stages take place in a specific order as life develops. The labyrinth is a depiction of the stages of development of life in a form.
Walking a labyrinth is like reenacting the stages of evolution and it reminds the bodies of the initiate to surrender to the unfolding of divine intent through him or her.

But which Labyrinth (s)? This is an ancient technique, so it would be the priests of any particular civilisation who would map it out…from their level of understanding. And if those were priests of the Ra gods? Or any others we would not gain by following their perhaps distorted scheme of the Cosmos?
Closer to home we have Chartres. Its Templar design is different from Almine's.
This is beautiful. And what do we find at the centre? A higher version of Our Self…discovering keys to unlock doorways to more mysteries…I've been rereading Windows into Eternity and how Our Beloved and Her intrepid Masters had to walk labyrinths in order to unlock the first Libraries for Our ascension…so many miraculous deeds. Truly the further we come, the less I comprehend…😊
