Regarding the desirability of becoming more sensitive as one becomes more illuminated, I can feel that I've become more sensitive to the dysfunctionalities and hostility of others. I'm concerned that it is making me more and more withdrawn from being around others. Is this the price of mastery?
The Seer:
A very good question, is this the price of mastery? And the answer is yes.
But consider this:
- You may lose the desire for the company of others, but all of life speaks to you. You are never isolated when the very wind tells you of its adventures.
- No matter how many mystery schools of the past have aimed at uncovering the mysteries of the cosmos, at no time has there been a generation of godbeings like yourselves dwelling in the midst of humanity. You are the best alchemists, mystics, runemasters, and metaphysicians of all times. And you have gathered here on Earth to save humanity from self-destruction. Of course you're not going to be able to mingle with the base and mediocre! You have an enormously important mission to fulfill and if it requires more solitude than the masses would regard as "normal", then so be it. It's a small price to pay to live a life of mastery; especially considering that in your solitude you will find your deep contentment and bliss.
