Rogier:
In Gateway to the Magical Life, you state the following. Can you please elaborate on the connection between spiritual and physical impoverishment?
If you are impoverished in spirit, in the unseen things of the inner realms, then life takes away in the physical because it creates compensation in the spiritual. The law of compensation is only there because we believe there is a difference between inner and outer.
The Seer:
If individuals are impoverished in spirit – living in a shallow way devoid of self-examination – their physical life becomes joyless and prone to depression. They are haunted by the unanswerable question, 'is this all there is to life? Is there no deeper or more profound meaning to this physical experience?' True happiness does not come from a search for fleeting pleasures, but rather from a quest for eternally evolving truth.
Seer's Note:
There is no quest that ends in a satisfactory conclusion. The satisfaction comes through small victories along the way, as the quest reveals luminous glimpses of ever-unfolding life. Today's truth is not tomorrow's truth.
