What is the best way to solve a problem and how do we use dream symbols to do so?
The Seer:
The average man in the street, will do one of two things:
- Ignore it as if it doesn't exist; sweep it under the rug. This creates dysfunctional homes and relationships, and unpleasant surprises.
- Tackle the problem head-on and think it through. This creates rationalization shaped by his world view. It prevents the learning opportunity that has come disguised as a problem, and obscures creative solutions.
The master, on the other hand, knows that he is surrounded by power and that power speaks to him through the symbols (dream symbols) and the feelings evoked by his environment.✶
The very important knowledge that he can access the power of the world around him, compels him to do the following:
- To avoid fixating on the problem, he acknowledges that it exists, but then acts as if it doesn't. He avoids obsessing about the problem (which drains energy), by deliberately turning his diffused attention to his environment. This 'soft focus' and fluid attitude allows power to flow to him.
- Not only has he prepared himself to receive power, but also power's communications. He stays very aware of the dream language in his environment and of the emotions it evokes. In the silence of his mind, answers arise effortlessly.
Seer's Note
Dream symbols follow a specific language (the language of the subconscious). A bird, for example, represents a thought. But the second part of the process is that we must then see what emotions of the heart it stirs. Is it an uneasy thought? An optimistic thought? And so forth.
