Regarding the addiction many wayshowers have to light ~
Rogier:
What's the difference between a hobby or interest and an addiction?
The Seer:
Here are some indicators of an addiction:
- If you engage in the energy draining, consciousness lowering habit of obsessing about getting answers to your questions.
- If the answers you do get are never enough. If you are habitually seeking more answers and asking more questions. (The 'enough is never enough' attitude is a very good indicator of an obsession.)
- When I was still actively teaching workshops, I noticed that the majority of the students predominantly sought "new" information even though I emphasized how important it was to start applying the knowledge we already had.
- When your hobby becomes your social life (social life = incorporating new experiences into your life, either alone or with others). In other words, when you want to do your hobby instead of having new experiences involving others.
What causes an addiction? The abandonment of parts of your experience of material life, that you would usually be interested in pursuing if the addiction did not exist.
