Rogier:
What's your opinion on patriotism?
The Seer:
Patriotism as a way of defining yourself or others, is an impediment to the impersonal life of a master. It obstructs expanded perspective and traps awareness. To identify with a nationality or race, is simply a larger personal identity — something we lose during advanced evolutionary stages.
However, to disrespect and demean that which sustains you, whether it is a country, family or institution, is ingratitude. Ingratitude creates the loss of blessings and a blockage to increase and the ability to thrive. Honor that which supports you and respect that which contributes to your well-being.

Well said Almine and thank you Amier

wow.. I love this, resonates and integrated within me wherever I lived in my life. Appreciating the land, the people , the resources and all the laws that are for the good of the people yet never identified with any race, nationality or culture. Although I enjoy many things in all cultures, arts, races and individuals. This is how it feels right. Oneness

To honour something and yet disconnect from its value system is quite the feat!

Very interesting distinction, especially in light of previous messages about ambivalence, which I think is a common theme for Original Ones when it comes to institutions and other things we may deem less than desirable. Thank you for everything both Almine and Rogier.
