The Seer discusses war and battle…
One of the most inspiring tales of faith and battles of war that I yet have heard, takes place on the North American continent during a ferocious war in which their civilization was under attack.
The Tale of the Two Thousand Stripling Warriors
The two thousand stripling warriors, also known as The Army of Helaman, are an army of young men — novices at war — told about in the Book of Mormon, first mentioned in the Book of Alma. They are portrayed as extremely valiant and loyal warriors; in the text, all are wounded in battle and yet survive, but the moving part of the story is that their society had taken an oath not to "take up the sword against" the attackers, unless in self-defense. But their mothers had promised them that they would not perish if they had faith in divine protection and they had believed in the words of their mothers. That not one of them had died during days of ferocious battles was an absolute miracle — the result of their faith and their non-hostile attitude.
How to Fight in Battle and Still Keep One's Integrity
The answer lies in fighting with a non-hostile attitude.
I was privileged to be witness to the battle between the angels and dragons that took place in August, 2013. Just prior to its occurrence the power of angels were dramatically increased by their becoming Angelgods instead of angels (in other words the angelic kingdom was elevated into Godhood). In addition, the angelic groups were organized in a way that allowed unobstructed communication to take please between their various groups. At the end of August 2013 a massive battle in the heavens took place between Angels and Dragons. This is a depiction of the battle the Seer witnessed in vision.
It was deeply moving to me to see the sigils of the angelic groups I had worked for days to draw, on their shields of light (they radiated light). With flaming swords they withstood the mighty dragon armies. But on their exquisite faces I could not see a hint of aggression nor malice. They stood forth to do their assigned duty in calmness and strength. To fight in this way is to incur no karma and to respect your adversary in death or in life. In this way, physical warriorship and spiritual warriorship become one.
This is a very elevated attitude. Warriors, especially striplings, usually need an injection of adrenaline to carry on, and that is generally achieved through instilling agression through hatred or fear.
How remarkable is this hightened self-confidence through Light, perhaps combined with the frequency of their Song of Self. With a higger chord holding them together in coherency.
