We should ask: if democracy is breaking down, what is it in us — as the microcosm — that expresses this environment? That is a governing system within us that is breaking down, or should be breaking down? The answer to this is the answer to many of your questions.

Principles of High Magic (76-80)
- The corrupt Earthly governments are still in place only because you, as the sacred government, keep them there through blind obedience to man's law.
- The democratic rule of your body by the primary organs, will show themselves to falter, unless you make the conscious decision to govern the body through Intent.
- Pandering to reason of yourself and others, strengthens areas of your being that are less evolved. Trusting you Inner knowing, raises all parts of your being to the highest evolution possible.
- Make your decisions from your highest faith and trust, and not from your doubts and fears. May your life be governed by glad expectations.
- When your decisions are made from a lower perspective, the higher self thwarts their success, in the same way in which democratic rule by the people, begets subversive tyranny. When the people control the outcome, tyrants control the people.

The part when she talks about the cop looking to give speeding tickets reminds of something similar.
One particular night I stopped at a red light. It was a late night and the intersection was in a smallish neighborhood, so there was absolutely no one around. Suddenly I felt overcome by an excitement and inspiration, very much like that of an excited and playful child, to just go ahead and dismiss the red light and just go go go! Haha
I wanted to do it so badly!
But I didn't do it, because I was afraid that maybe a cop was hiding somewhere and I'd be seen. I remember not doing it felt like I let myself down, because not doing it was a lesser choice.
I am not suggesting or advising anyone runs a red light. What I am saying is that we need to learn how to choose our intuitive and inspired guidance and actions no matter the fear of consequences. If it feels right, do so. If we let human imposed laws stifle our inspiration and boundlessness, we condone an environment of A.I. in which law is law and consequences are enforced mercilessly.
