Rogier:
Was Enki a friend to humanity and the Original Ones then? Because you wrote, “he built a remedial factor into man’s DNA.”

The Seer:
He prevented Enlil’s destructiveness against humanity several times — assuring the continuation of the species. The motive is convoluted though:

Enki and Enlil were both the sons of Anu, by two different mothers; but Anu bestowed the most power in Enlil. So there was an ongoing competition between them. (Seer’s note: Enki’s skill as a hydro engineer and a geneticist was brilliant. Enki’s half sister Ninhursag was his ally, and fellow geneticist and bio engineer.)

Enki’s motive to save humanity sprang in part from the competitiveness to outsmart Enlil, and in very large part from Enki’s pride in the creative skill with which he shaped the creation of man — that was not something he wanted to see Enlil destroy. The national pride of the Anunnaki in their race, was threatened by the advent of man.

This genetic accomplishment was a matter of great pride to Enki and it took many failed attempts to eventually successfully accomplish. He could not openly defy Enlil and the governing council. But he could outsmart them. He watched the evolution of mankind with parental pride over eons of time.
