One doesn’t realize exactly how much you miss your relationship with the Earth… until you do. Beloved ones, when you have a relationship with the Earth as a living being; one that you can communicate with, one that you care about, one who cares about you, in return. Until you have fostered that close relationship yet again with the Earth. Until you know when her birds migrate, when the storm is coming; until you know when she wants to speak to you, and you can hear her voice deep inside your heart, you do not realize that there is something missing. Fulfilling that something with a deep personal relationship with the Earth, not just treating her as though she is inanimate, but taking care of little choices that may harm her. Removing them out of your choices altogether, until you have her wellbeing firmly ahead as you walk through life. That is the time you truly start to feel, you are never alone. You are fulfilled.
