This is so true. Having no desire or interest in proving, persuading, teaching.. It reminds me of the idea I think it was Joanna Rowling who said in one of the Harry Potter books, something about being empowered when you don’t seek it. … I found it. She said “ It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. I remember in one of Almine’s book she describes how the Infinite (my paraphrasing) asked her to teach the moment she didn’t feel compelled to be a teacher at all.
It’s definitely a guiding point I’ve used.
