Is the complexity of a spell proportional to its power? In Book of Spells there are spells that involve *just* an incantation, while others require a lot more effort, such as assembling a special setting and combining ingredients.
The Seer:
No it doesn't make it more powerful. The more ancient the spell, the more simple it usually is. Ancient spells have been used thousands of times through the ages. Spells become more powerful the more they're used; less energy input is needed to activate their powers.
