There does seem to be a misunderstanding, but here's how to treat it:
Leave the shungite in the sun for a day, and then leave it in salt (not salt water) overnight and this should give it enhanced effects for another six months.
Seer's Note:
Even if you don't treat your shungite as I explained above, it should be fine because shungite is one of the rare stones that is incorruptible. In other words, it doesn't need cleaning. The sunlight and salt invigorates shungite and gives your stone a vitality boost, which enhances its field of influence (rather than being meant as an unnecessary cleaning method for a stone that doesn't need cleaning.)
That's fortunate! Because ours has been sitting on our wifi box for years. At the time I bought it I understood it to not need clearing. But we will show it our appreciation by energising it in the way Almine suggests.

Can shungite be used to protect against large fields of EMF in the home? For instance, the entire space being inundated with high levels of EMF from an immediate neighbor's radiant heat panels in their ceiling just underneath my floor? Or from old wiring in the walls that creates large magnetic fields in entire rooms when large amounts of electricity are being used? How would the shungite be placed in those instances? Thank you.
