If opposite poles have equal value, does that mean it doesn't matter which one we choose to experience? Would there by no karmic consequences if we choose to be hurtful rather than helpful?
The Seer:
Karma is a very misunderstood concept: many think of it as a type of punishment for "bad" deeds. But actions are like boomerangs. All actions, "good" and "bad", come back for the one who acts, to experience — sometimes years later, sometimes immediately.
I have over the years of teaching, stressed that the only thing in our lives we have control over is the quality of the journey. Whether we choose to live a helpful or a hurtful life, may not matter to the way cosmic life unfolds — I've often repeated that our choices are factored into the grand scheme of unfolding life — but it would definitely matter to the quality of your journey, because every action comes back to effect you.
