The Seer:
From an Angelgod in the night:
"The root of all true desire, is the desire for wholeness. The children of men desire many things, most of which are for self-aggrandizement and to become more than what they are. The attainment of perfection of living is disrupted by excess. Balance flees before greedy acquisition. The greedy grabbing at more, and ever more, comes from a distorted desire to be whole."
"To be able to tell whether what we desire completes us, or contributes to our unwholeness, determine whether that which we desire comes from an external source, or whether it is supplied by an inner achievement. All accomplishment of an inner nature can never be excessive. "

Oh this is too beautiful. Gratitude.
HUMOUR; This reminds of our retreats in Toronto with Almine. She would crack the most biting jokes, around some situation that occurred and what it meant. It was soooo pointed a sense of humour that the whole classy would erupt, in unison, in uproarious laughter. I witnessed this at every retreat and was most appreciative of her sharp wit and sense of humour. π
