I recall (very imperfectly) in around 2010 Almine saying that we would no longer consider ourselves as Stewards of the place we live. Because roles needed to be set aside. That indeed we do confer Blessing upon a place, by who we are. As much to a place we pass through as to the place where we have settled. So from this perspective we are not stewards of a particular place.
"Stewards of the Earth" probably implies another level. An attribute of our Being rather than a role involving 'doing'?
