The value of our making mistakes, is that we can then recognize them in others. This becomes important when we consider that those of lower consciousness, who live a self-unexamined life, do not grow and adjust from their mistakes. Today’s mistake therefore becomes tomorrow’s character flaw.
Awareness of the character flaws of others, can help determine whether we want to relate to them at all or not.
