🌹Coming Home to Yourself: Handbook of Wholesome Living →
You don't need to try and be holy, or do important things — what's holy or important in the eyes of the unreal world around you, matters not at all. It's within your palette of expression to be silly, or funny, or playful or childlike. If it were not, these expressions would not be mirrored in the unreal world around you which has been created as the mirror in which you find yourself.
When we dismiss the playful, silly parts of ourselves as frivolous, and focus instead on deep metaphysical insights in the name of spiritual growth only, we manifest unpleasant results. Even though we may have forgotten how to be childlike and innocently play, if it is present within, it is authentic. To deny its expression, is to manifest the scar tissue of distorted illusion in our environment to take its place.

I was just feeling this and then the post. It always happens this way. I get in insight and next day is the post. I was just needing to step away from all my tools…and just BE.

I keep that book next to my, it is full of deep wisdom.
Must share that for Thanksgiving I organized a game of SPUD with a huge beach ball (36″ Round) and musical chairs that was such a hoot… the ages of those wonderful beings that played with me, ranged from 10 years old to 50+! We all laughed so much…if you remember how to play spud you'll know what I mean. Then afterwards we rested and then we played musical chairs…such simple games, and everyone was so grateful and happy, me too! We played surrounded by our beautiful majestic trees, the Earth and all the little creatures seen and unseen. 🙂
