If we regard negative events as an illusion, then we must also regard the beautiful, positive things as an illusion. They are the eggshell and the egg yolk. One provides the incubation chamber for the other; the negative defines the parameter in which the positive can develop. It is therefore only logical to gratefully accept both the lessons and the gifts of life with surrendered trust — since lessons are nothing more than hidden gifts.
