Is there a reason why you emphasize elegance in your garden and home environment? I can feel a bigger reason beyond just that it makes you happy.

My friend the Countess de Salis would say: “someone needs to keep up standards of refinement and beauty. Someone needs to appreciate the passion and joy with which artists and artisans create excellence.”

In my journey into the future, I saw that the present age in which we live was known as the age in which humanity lost its sense of what is beauty, and what is not.

My art professor at Oregon State University said that during a civilization’s decline, the message of its art becomes a distorted scream. How true! Let us honor the proper use of our language and the contribution to our perception yielded by the literature of our deepest thinkers that depth may yet again return to the expression of life on Earth
