The Seer:
The “Lion’s Gate” refers to the rising of Sirius above the horizon. It was an important spiritual event for the ancient Egyptian priests and the New Age teachers looking for subject matter to impress students.

“…the pineal gland, the pituitary, and the hypothalamus can be used as a stargate ( the Lion’s Gate) when the breath is fully mastered, something that becomes more possible during specific phases of the conjunction of Sirius with the Earth and the Moon. This allows the ability to communicate with beings from other planets and to study their planetary civilizations.”

The Sothic triangle symbol had a nine pointed star on top, symbolizing Sirius. The lucrative cult of the Dog Star formed based on these teachings and sacrificed a puppy during the night before Sirius’s rising. The puppies sacrificed in this way were then mummified and sold to the highest bidder to be entombed with them at the end of their life. (The Heyhokas – the sacred clowns of the Anishnawbe Indians – still hold these midnight ceremonial sacrifices.)

Seer’s Note:
It is not uncommon that elevated occult mysticism is converted to something base and profane (as in the case of the Lion’s Gate).
