It is human folly to always want what they don’t have — folly that has become ingrained in human and godbeing’s DNA. It is even evident in children and the way in which they always want a new toy, whether it is inferior or not; merchants and advertisers exploit this trait. Adversity stalks the predictable. A life of poise and grace does not belong to one who travels through eternity in a rut of predictability. Shed now your greed born of self-pity and in gratitude acknowledge how far you’ve come and all you’ve achieved. Without gratitude for the blessings of the present, there shall be no more increase in the future.
