Draw a line through the labyrinth ahead of time and then just trace it with your finger.
The Seer
Rogier:
Having explored Sunday’s ceremonial component of labyrinth tracing, we emphasize that participants draw the line ahead of time, per the Seer’s recommendation. And if you don’t get the chance, then just do your best, but possibly repeat the ceremony when you have done so. To be sure, you draw a line on your handheld copy of the Labyrinths, not the ones on the powerstack. (And if the provided ‘Labyrinths With Paradoxes’ PDF is too small, you can instead bring a copy of the large stack versions.)
With most Labyrinths, tracing their path is basically a question of entering around the top (in the vicinity of “12 o’ clock”), and following its path to the center. The hard exception is #5, which requires various judgment calls and may trip you up.
(I recall, years ago, consulting the Seer about Labyrinth #5, and I believe she spoke of a special significance to it. If I can find this information, I will share it below.)
Note:
The intricacies of labyrinth tracing won’t be covered during the ceremony or its intro, so ideally you’ll have a conceptual grasp of this ahead of time.
Very glad you posted this Rogier so that everyone can be on the same page….lol.
