Her Favorite Form of Poetry

October 2, 2022 by Rogier 2 Comments

When we asked the Seer what her favorite form of poetry is, she answered unhesitatingly: Japanese haiku. Here are some of her favorite examples:

  • A Poppy Blooms by Katsushika Hokusai
  • A World of Dew by Kobayashi Issa
  • In a Station of the Metro by Ezra Pound
  • Lighting One Candle by Yosa Buson
  • Over the Wintry by Natsume Sōseki
  • The Old Pond by Matsuo Bashō
