In recapitulating daily life experiences, how should we approach older memories? One of the Runes* is: Releasing the Cosmic Story. In recapitulating these memories, does it help to release the cosmic story, or does it actually keep it in place?
The Seer:
My answer is based on the fact that life experiences are cyclical — what you’ve experienced before, you are experiencing again (this has given rise to the much misunderstood concept of karma). If you learn from your experiences by recapitulating your daily experiences, these cycles in fact become a journey of evolution. (See Journey to the Heart of God for information on how to recapitulate.) Instead of life moving around and around in repetitive circles, it becomes a spiral, circling through the same experiences again, but each time at a higher level.
Re: the Rune card Releasing the Cosmic Story…
As I’ve pointed out on many occasions: each of you is living in a different reality; a different cosmos that is the macrocosmic expression of your individuation. Change your day by getting its insights, and you’ll change your cosmos’ story.
This Rune reminds you that the cosmic story you are experiencing, isn’t written in stone; it isn’t fixed. You are writing it as you go. You release the old story of life having to end in tragedy, with each day well-lived and by each insight gained.
Yes I found that I could release the story I felt so trapped in and was told about by embracing every day like an adventure and coming to new insights, the story does not have to unfold as told. We can make it ours by living each day anew, like a rose unfolding it’s peddles.
